Ahmed Mitkees began fishing with his father on the Nile River at the age of four, and over the years, he has risen to become one of Egypt's top anglers, representing the country in numerous international events. His deep passion for angling led him to establish Red Sea Anglers, a pioneering sport-fishing events company.
As the IGFA Representative and Co-Chair of the Development Committee, Ahmed has played a significant role in advancing the sport. After founding Red Sea Anglers, he collaborated with the Egyptian Ministry of Environment to establish Ethical Anglers, an organization focused on promoting catch and release and tagging practices.
